Find your purpose. Stay on your lane
Everyone is born into this world for a reason
Just like every manufacturer creates artifacts for a purpose
A comb is made to keep the hair neat
A broom is made to sweep
It is foolishness to use a comb to sweep or a broom to brush your hair

Find your purpose. Stick to it.
Everyone wants to go abroad
Everyone wants to blog
Every parent wants his/her child to read medicine
Every youth wants to 'blow'
I have only one thing to say

Find your purpose and stick to it
because at or before the end
The manufacturer will discard every misused tool
So I say to you again

Find your purpose. Stick to it.
Stay on your lane.
Follow your script. Act your part.

When you want something and ask for it from the universe, the universe gives it to you alongside a distraction. The universe does this to be assured of what you truly want. The first time I heard those words (paraphrased) were from the delectable female rap artist and poet, Eva Alordiah. I was still ruminating on those words and trying to question the school of thought when it happened to me, two days after. A friend who I just met and who was also my editor at the moment sent me an invite to a literary event; a book review.
