Why do we treat a gift like an abomination?

It’s our mind we need to fix

 

In the beginning, “they” were naked

Adam and eve

In that same beginning

They had communion (fellowship) with the father, NAKED  

Then the serpent came

And their eyes opened

But they weren’t blind before

So let me rephrase

Their mind opened

And they sought to cover up

They saw nakedness as something shameful

Even God wasn’t pleased

That’s why he asked

“Who told you you’re naked?”

So you see this talk about nakedness?

It’s our mind we need to fix

 

I hear your thoughts

“Times have changed, this is a new age”

That’s true but

Yesterday, a child was born, naked

I could see the joy in your faces

All you saw was a child in her purest form, NAKED  

Until you covered her up

Cos’ cold and other external harmful factors

Three months down the line

One uncle tries to stick his finger in her veejay

To pleasure his mind

Or

Ten years down the line

The gardener decides to stick his dick in her

Because she plays with skimpy shorts and bare chests (NAKED) in her father’s compound

Or

Twenty years down the line

It’s because of her dressing she got raped

No one asked to come with these features

We woke up to big breasts that can’t even be hid in clothes

So why shame us for it

No matter how long and thick a fabric is,

So why make us carry it like an abomination

Like something to be covered because it’s an eyesore

 

Our bodies are a gift to us

And our truest form is naked

Naked we came, naked we will go

Our bodies are a vessel for use

Not essentially for keeps and covering

What is light under a bushel?

What is our body, constantly clad in clothes

Our bodies are to be used

For art

For nurture

For pleasure

For service

 

Picture a dead naked woman or man right now,

Do you feel aroused by the sight?

If yes, then you have a weird fetish

Or

Picture a day old baby girl with pink lush soft skin

Do you feel like hitting it with her now?

If yes, please take yourself to the nearest psychiatric hospital

Do you look away when you see a naked mad man or woman?

Or you stare and think of the best position for knacks?

Hope you now see it’s the mind that’s the problem   

Teach your mind not to stray

Teach your mind right and wrong

Teach your mind boundaries

Teach your mind that the body is just a vessel to hold a more precious content

 

So you, yes you

Carry your nakedness (body) with pride

Cos’ it’s a gift to humanity

And you, yes you

Pervert!

Go fix your mind
