As of many decades to come
So has 2020
Filled with expectations of the best year yet
Everyone projecting and professing
What lies ahead
Forgetting that yesterday was once TODAY
And tomorrow will soon be TODAY
So today is what we should focus on
Make TODAY, this minute count
Because what lies ahead is
TODAY
